Main responsibilities

Marketing Leadership:

• Lead the day-to-day marketing function, providing clear priorities, direction and support to the Marketing Operations Specialist.

• Coach and develop the Marketing Operations Specialist, improving capability, ownership and quality of execution.

• Translate the agreed commercial and marketing strategy into an annual marketing plan, campaign roadmap and measurable KPIs.

• Establish clear marketing processes, ownership and delivery standards.

• Manage competing priorities and ensure marketing resources are focused on activity with the greatest commercial impact.

• Work closely with the Commercial Director, providing regular reporting, recommendations and insight into marketing performance.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

· Own the end-to-end campaign process, from proposition and audience through to messaging, execution, lead generation, sales follow-up and performance analysis.

· Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously across Flat Rock Technology's core services and target markets.

· Build integrated campaigns using channels including email, LinkedIn, landing pages, webinars, events, thought leadership and partnerships.

· Ensure campaigns have clear objectives, audiences, calls to action and measurable outcomes.

· Take a hands-on role in campaign development, messaging, content and execution where required.

· Continuously evaluate campaign performance and improve activity based on data and commercial results.

Brand, Content & Digital

· Ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging and quality across all marketing activity.

· Continue developing FRT's digital presence across the corporate website, landing pages, microsites and social channels.

· Develop thought leadership activity that strengthens FRT's position as a credible authority within our target markets.

· Coordinate the production of high-quality commercial collateral including sales decks, Sales IP, case studies, event materials and digital assets.

· Ensure internal marketing requests are properly prioritised and delivered without distracting from strategic campaign activity.

Lead Generation & Commercial Alignment

· Make marketing a measurable contributor to pipeline generation and revenue growth.

· Generate and nurture MQLs through targeted campaigns and ensure effective handover into the sales process.

· Work closely with SDRs to ensure marketing activity translates into relevant outreach, higher-quality meetings and sales opportunities.

· Work with Strategic Accounts and Sales to identify campaign opportunities within target sectors, accounts and propositions.

· Improve alignment between marketing activity, SDR outreach and commercial priorities.

· Support partnership marketing, co-branded campaigns, events and other channels capable of generating new opportunities.

CRM, Measurement & Performance

· Own the marketing use of the CRM, ensuring MQLs, campaign activity and lead progression are accurately captured.

· Establish clear reporting across campaigns, digital channels, lead generation and pipeline contribution.

· Monitor conversion from campaign engagement through MQL, SQL and opportunity.

· Report regularly to the Commercial Director on performance, learning and recommended actions.

· Use data to determine where marketing resource and budget should be increased, changed or stopped.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in B2B marketing, ideally within technology, professional services, outsourcing, SaaS or another complex B2B environment.

  • Experience managing or developing marketing team members.

  • Strong track record of developing and executing integrated B2B campaigns.

  • Demonstrable experience generating leads and contributing to commercial pipeline.

  • Strong understanding of CRM, email marketing, digital campaigns, social media and marketing analytics.

  • Ability to turn commercial propositions into compelling campaign messaging and content.

  • Experience managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using performance data to make decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal English.

  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and the confidence to challenge, recommend and prioritise.

  • Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
